Christopher Smart (1722-1771) writes 39 hymns for children. The 3rd edition, 1775. The format resembles simple non-musical poems. Other modern editions are scores for organ, piano, harpsichord etc. Each hymn has a small graphic illustrating the piece. A long time ago there were only 3 copies available worldwide.
